Designed according to API 421, these oil/water separators combine separation, skimming and sludge transport technologies into an efficient primary oil separation device. They remove the bulk of free oils and greases from the plant wastewater stream, eliminating overloading and other problems in downstream treatment processes. The separators are suited for general refinery wastewater, tank wash, bilge and ballast water, desalter waste and storm water runoff.
